Entering parenthood introduces a new circle of friends to find, topics to learn,

and a world of baby products to discover. Life as a new parent can start with

complete confusion and anxiety. KickSprout was created to help expectant

and new parents connect with a community of other families, provide face-toface

events and online educational workshops taught by local experts on a

range of topics, and help parents discover the best baby products for their new

family.

The moment kickSprout founders Carlo and Leasa brought their daughter home

from the hospital (after 4 days in the Intensive Care Unit) and the role of mom

and dad sunk in; they quickly realized that this parenting thing amidst all the

advice, was going to be much different from what they had expected. Despite

all the planning and reading of books, they realized that having a support group

near by with parents juggling the same life changes and emotions was going to

be essential to their new family.

As the first of their friends to launch into the world of parenting they felt

completely lost. What they were truly looking for was a community to connect

face to face with other parents as well as access to experts to ask all their

burning questions. Yearning for a community of parents to reassure one another

that we were not all going crazy.

Understanding that so many parents have the same concerns and fears; a

community of like-minded parents to connect as well as a place of support,

learning and growth would truly benefit everyone - and so kickSprout was born.

KickSprout makes it easy for anyone to get involved to help build a better

community and stronger families.
